Week 7: Certification Information


carboNZero supports organisations, services and products in becoming carbon neutral. It measures the current greenhouse gas emissions, provides help in reducing and suggests ways to offset the remaining carbon footprint. Annual independent verification of compliance is necessary to maintain the certification.




ISO9001 looks at a company's Quality Management System. This includes Customer and Employee Care, product development, compliance with legal requirements, continuous improvement in decision making and internal auditing of all processes.



ISO14001 relates to ISO9001, but looks at the Environmental Management System a company implies.
